박사과정 (협동과정조경학, GPUD)
A Ph.D. student in our group is expected to pursue highly ‘original’ and ‘scholarly’ research on urban forms, change in development patterns, big data-based urban analysis, urban mobility, diversity issues, and urban design responses to crises across different cities. Basic understanding on empirical research methods, such as quantitative analysis using regression models or site observation using survey techniques, is required. A bit of academic exposure to visual studies, architectural design, spatial analysis using GIS and remote sensing is highly recommended.
- 연구실 박사과정은 전일제(풀타임)가 원칙입니다. 과정 전 기간에 걸쳐 교육/연구에 전념할 수 있어야 합니다.
- 적어도 지원 두 달 전에 2-3페이지 연구제안서와 함께 e-mail로 문의하시기 바랍니다.
- 국가연구사업 참여나 교내외 장학금은 전일제 학생을 중심으로 이루어집니다.
- 예외적으로 파트타임 박사 트랙도 운영합니다. 단, 소속기관에서 재택/탄력근무나 휴직을 허용해야 합니다.
석사과정 (환경대학원 환경설계학과)
Master’s students in our group will walk through two different tracks: 1) Urban design concentration and 2) urban studies (research-based program with or without studio works experience). Graduate/undergraduate students from departments of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, planning, environmental studies, and social science are welcome.
